This will be an awesome way to keep in touch. I have reserved Zebro's for Friday July 10th for our dinner. No firm plans are made as of yet, however, we do have the restaurant reserved our class and dinner. Also, I have the reservation request form for Eason Hall for Saturday July 11th that I will fill out so that we will have that reserved for us as well.

You know what would be great, a yearbook pictures button, for those of us who have lost more then their fair share of brain RAM over the years.

Walter,
If you go to my profile, I'm slowly cranking out what remains in the RAM I have left (that wasn't fried by senior year!) I haven't even gone to dig out the yearbooks! I have tons of old stuff I'll bring to the reunion, I'm the consumate packrat!

By now, it's pretty clear that Karen K. has a cult following. I'm on her "email me when she updates her profile list" and drop everything to see what's new! I think we should video us all singing the "Fifty Nifty United States" song (without Alfie Hall's solo of "New York is the best") at reunion and post it on YouTube. Hat's off to the reunion team for putting this website and event together.

This note is from Matt Gentner - he seems to remember some of us particularly Mark W. he asked that I post this for him. I have sent a note to him suggesting he come to the dance.... His e-mail is Matthew.Gentner@gmail.com in case you would like to contact him.
Fred
Your site is REALLY awesome. I am a '90 WACS alumn.

Great job on this website Fred! It is awesome!
The deocrating meeting at Zebro's was so much fun! It was great to share ideas and talk about old times.
Looking forward to meeting up with the gang at Larry's on 3/12 to further discuss our deocrating ideas and share some more laughs.

so i was at my pizza shop last sunday when this guy walks in and places an order....after his pizza was in the oven he ask me if i use pepperoni like up in buffalo...i said that we didnt use the small ones that cup up into a grease shot but that we did use a good pepperoni...as we were waiting for the pizza to cook we had nascar on the tv and as we watched it this guy ask...where is darryl...i thought he meant darrell waltrip from nascar and gave him a funny look as if to say, how long has it been sence you seen a race. but i asked him "darryl who"
then he said my last name..after a little longer look at him i then found out i was talking to walter miller...we chatted for quite a while...hes doing good and doesnt show to many after effects from the fall off the cliff...sorry walter i had to say that....

Yeah, Sorry about that Darryl. If I hadn't seen your pic on your web page I wouldn't have recognized you for a while either. That's why I said earlier, "We should post the Senior pictures from the year book.", and along side it, a newer pic if our vanity can handle it.

That reminds me of one I read the other day...enjoy!
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN GUILTY OF LOOKING AT OTHERS YOUR OWN AGE AND THINKING, SURELY I CAN'T LOOK THAT OLD.
WELL . . . YOU'LL LOVE THIS ONE.
MY NAME IS ALICE , AND I WAS SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH A NEW DENTIST.
I NOTICED HIS DDS DIPLOMA ON THE WALL, WHICH BORE HIS FULL NAME. SUDDENLY, I REMEMBERED A TALL, HANDSOME, DARK-HAIRED BOY WITH THE SAME NAME HAD BEEN IN MY HIGH SCHOOL CLASS SOME 30-ODD YEARS AGO.
COULD HE BE THE SAME GUY THAT I HAD A SECRET CRUSH ON, WAY BACK THEN?
UPON SEEING HIM, HOWEVER, I QUICKLY DISCARDED ANY SUCH THOUGHT.
THIS BALDING, GRAY-HAIRED MAN WITH THE DEEPLY LINED FACE WAS WAY TOO OLD TO HAVE BEEN MY CLASSMATE.
AFTER HE EXAMINED MY TEETH, I ASKED HIM IF HE HAD ATTENDED WESTFIELD HIGH SCHOOL.
'YES. YES, I DID. I'M A WOLVERINE,' HE GLEAMED WITH PRIDE.
WHEN DID YOU GRADUATE?' I ASKED.
HE ANSWERED, 'IN 1979. WHY DO YOU ASK?'
YOU WERE IN MY CLASS!', I EXCLAIMED.
HE LOOKED AT ME CLOSELY.
THEN, THAT UGLY,
OLD,
BALD,
WRINKLED FACED,
FAT-A&S$D,
GRAY-HAIRED,
DECREPIT
SON-OF-A-BITCH
ASKED,
'WHAT DID YOU TEACH???

I am enjoying reading these messages. I have not been back to Westfield since the last reunion. I am sure that things have changed. I am looking forward to seeing you all in July. Thanks to all that have put so much work into this.

Everyone....I haven't been to a class reunion since I graduated. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. I suspect we'll all look a lot different but the voices and personalities will bring everything into perspective. Thanks for the effort that everyone is putting into making this happen - even if your just attending!

I am having fun reading the posts from names from long ago!
Terri Racino said it best the other night...and to paraphrase, it is great to reconnect, to remember and to renew friendships. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of reviving our connections to Westfield.
Looking forward to seeing all of you that can come to the Reunion...and staying in contact with everyone!

At our last meeting we talked about some people (local & other) who aren't into the whole reunion thing.
As I thought back at my 13 years in school and the 30 years out of school, (yeah I choked on that too!) I realized that even if I didn't, or haven't had a relationship with you, our lives probably have that 2% of seperation that seems to be so true. My son is going to UB (Buffalo) and through simple chance is roommates with Trevor Laughlin's son Matt. As JoEllen (miss ya girl!) pointed out Darrly was just around the corner and she didn't even know it.
It's been great being able to start extra early (Thanks Fred) with the web-site but I still look forward to connecting and reconnecting with all who attend.
